Kīpaepae Hoʻoulu Ka ʻĀina Nui O Nā Ipu
This kīpaepae will take place on April 18 at Welburn Gourd Farm in Fallbrook, CA. The main intention for this kīpaepae is to restore, invigorate, and energize the ʻāina for growing season for the multitude of ipu grown on the farm. These ipu are a major resource for the hula community and for the larger Hawaiʻi community, and this is our opportunity to aloha those that mālama this space and provide this precious resource for us. We will learn oli and hula that will be part of the kaʻina for this ceremony. This ceremony will be in conjunction with Welburnʻs Opening Day celebration.
